What do you say when you get the...."A Vrod isn't a real Harley" crap?

I don't notice it from women, but I do get it from men. And working at a dealership I probably get it more than most.

I usually ask if the've ridden one or if they want to race or tell them I like how it feels under me, that one usually shuts them up.

OMG....THAT PISSES ME OFF SOOOO BAD!! Here is my response to the assholes with the balls to say that to me....IF IT SAYS "HARLEY" ON IT, IF IT SOUNDS LIKE A HARLEY, GEE, IT MUST BE A F'N HARLEY!! LOL
This one older guy and me were going back and forth one night (just playin) he's like "...My 1975 Panhead...blah blah blah.." I jumped in and said..."Well, when u need me to come over and kick start that baby for ya, just give me a call"...lmao

Yeah....the Vrod has come a long ways to gain acceptance within the "old school" bikers communities. Since I have the bike, I've never experienced negativities or "Snubbers" toward the bike. As a matter of fact, everywhere I go, I noticed people, from all walks of life, staring and gawking at my bike with admirations. And occasionally even a two thumbs up. What I like the most is when I park it outside of bars and restaurants in warm summer nites, there's always a crowd of on lookers and admires surrounding my bike.

As for the "Snubbers" gals, I don't think their comments has anything to do with your Vrod. They're probably just saying that just to hit on you. Afterall, I think women looks sexy on motorcycles, but sexier on a Vrod.

Oh yeah....the looks I get are unreal! :) There is just that occasional "old schooler" givin me crap! haha But, I just blow it off! I love parking my bike out front of work where I can see the RUBBER NECKERS! People walking and driving by taking a second, third, even a fourth look! ITS AWESOME!!

when airheads snub my rod, i ask do they want to race......they say i bought mine to ride. i tell them i rode mine down here and i bought mine to stomp the shit out of baggers like yours, they just walk away shakin' there heads as i laugh. i have a buddy that rides a bagger and he calls my bike the "VD ROD" he gets to see the back of my bike alot seeing that i'm out front all the time.

I havent gotten that yet. Everyone has been very cool and seem to know what the v-rod is really about. So they dont mess with me. But like you said. If they did i would be like hay ya wanna race. and that would prob be the end of it.......lol
