would you believe i feel safer in South Carolina WITHOUT a helmet on my VROD than i did in New Jersey with a helmet on a little yamaha 250!! I imagine CA is like NJ when it comes to traffic and crazy drivers!! lovin the country roads here in the south!! no freakin highway shoulders or rest stops though!!!
Me too. I do overkill on keeping mine nice and shiny. I don't care. Call me what you want but I look good when I take it out. Yeah, gravel can be tricky. Tell me you lifted the bike back up on your own...That's ok if you didn't. In Ca. there's a helmet law and one time I took off without my helmet and didn't realize it wasn't one for a good mile or so. That was embarrassing for me! Hey, but it felt sooo good without a helmet on! Thank god for beanies...Guess beanies are the next best thing to not wearing a helmet.
That's awful that you dropped your bike in the driveway...Oh, the humanity! lol No seriously that's unfortunate it had to happen but better than something more serious right? No worries, I can wait. Hope you had a great Christmas and have a great new year!
Jersey girl relocated to the South. Loving the weather and clean air and NO HELMET LAWS!! Looking to hook up with other VROD enthusiasts! I work from home or travel back to NJ. I like to golf and garden.. truly amazed at what I grew this year!! I live alone with a couple of cats
Brag About Your VROD
I learned on a yamaha 250cc and when it was time to upgrade, I rented every single kind of Harley and wouldn't even consider anything but the VROD. I bought my used, all chromed out, a girl's gotta have bags!! Need the windshield too, lots of bugs in the south.. and my back loves the comfy seat. A need a volunteer to be my first Bitch.
What Do You Like Most About The VROD?
the VROD fits my body, i drive a dodge magnum with a hemi.. do I need to say anymore... respect the power.... love knowing i have it.. i can get away from stupid traffic
In Your Opinion, What Could Be Improved On The VROD? Besides the gas tank capacity :-(
not crazy about stock pipes.. i sound like a sewing machine.... I know I can change them...however I am mechanically challenged... maybe Santa will be good to me this year
